Three-chamber ventilation

Three-chamber ventilation

The right supply of fresh air is crucial

The right supply of fresh air makes a decisive contribution to a pleasant sauna or heat bath. On the one hand, the oxygen content should be as high as possible; on the other hand, the cabin should not cool down too much and no unpleasant draughts should develop.

For our Thermium and sauna cabins, we therefore offer a sophisticated, patented ventilation system with three chambers. It ensures draught-free ventilation right down to the smallest corner. Two open ventilation ducts ensure a constant exchange of air.

The third duct can be opened with a rotary knob as required to provide additional ventilation at short notice. This allows the cabin to be quickly dehumidified after a steam bath with the Meditherm.

The advantages

  • Complete air exchange

  • No unpleasant draughts

  • Rapid dehumidification possible thanks to third channel

Three-chamber ventilation

The three-chamber ventilation system (3K exhaust section) developed by RUKU in 1995 differs from a conventional exhaust air shaft in the following special features:
The exhaust air can be discharged at the bottom and top, simultaneously or separately, as required. As the exhaust air section fits into the cabin grid, it can be positioned in the most favourable airflow position; if necessary, several 3K sections can be installed. The outer and inner panelling of the exhaust air sections are flush with the wall and therefore do not interfere with the furnishings or the exterior design.
