Thermium uses a patented infrared surface heating system that is unique on the market. Tubular heating elements in the cabin walls emit long-wave infrared radiation over a large area. Whereas with a sauna heater the heat is transferred more via the air, the infrared heat radiation acts directly on the body. The advantage: at the same body temperature, the air temperature in the infrared cabin is lower, which results in a higher oxygen content. Our customers often describe the infrared heat as more pleasant and less oppressive than the hot air in a classic sauna.
Patented infrared surface heating
Enjoy soothing infrared heat
Cabin temperature from 35 to approx. 85 °C
In contrast to other infrared cabins, the RUKU system also allows higher temperatures of up to approx. 85 °C to be set. Classic sauna sessions at high temperatures and low humidity are therefore just as possible in a Thermium from Ruku as mild heat baths for muscle relaxation.
The advantages
Comfortable infrared C radiation
High oxygen content
Wide temperature range from 35 - approx. 85 °C
Completely manufactured in-house
TÜV- and GS-tested
Infrared panel heating in the Thermium
The walls of a Thermium cabin are made up of different sections: the heating section, the ventilation section, the electrical section and the iso-wood section. All components are maintenance-free and are manufactured in-house. The heating sections, each protected against overheating by two fuses, are TÜV-tested and carry the GS mark.
