With a relative humidity of 100 per cent and temperatures of 38 to a maximum of 55 °C, a steam bath differs significantly from the hotter, dry sauna. Due to the lower temperature, it is better tolerated by many people. The warm, humid air from the steam generator relaxes the muscles and the entire body. This is because the balance of heat and moisture loosens the muscles, while sweating purifies the body of toxins. Your soothingly moisturised airways will also thank you for every visit to the steam bath, where your skin is cleansed deep into the pores.

Hot steam provides relief from illnesses and rheumatic complaints - with pleasant aromas of herbs, citrus fruits or flowers. With our patented Meditherm steam generator, you can even turn your sauna and Thermium into a versatile steam and aroma bath, where you can say goodbye to essences and indulge in the fragrance of real herbs, essential oils and crystal salt. The natural active ingredients unfold as tiny vapour particles in the air and are absorbed directly by the skin, which is now fragrant. A steam bath in combination with crystal salt, for example, is particularly recommended for people with respiratory problems, as its alkaline effect promotes circulation and alleviates infections.

RUKU Sauna-Manufaktur plans and realises steam baths from private two-person cabins to large commercial baths. Your cabin is customised to your room situation and planned and designed according to your wishes. Depending on the size of the cabin, straight, curved, semi-circular or ergonomically shaped benches can be designed, for example. If required, we can also combine the steam room with a fully-fledged shower for a refreshing shower after a walk and daily showering. The tiled steam cabin with built-in shower head is a convenient alternative to a shower or bath, especially for older or less mobile people. This makes your steam sauna ideal for everyday use as well as for those special moments of relaxation.
