Sauna-Manufacturing RUKU in Illertissen, Bavaria, can look back on over 170 years of history. In 1852, the entrepreneur Rudolf Kurz founded a sawmill and plaster mill, which he and his family gradually developed into a successful wood processing company. To this day, the company's core expertise lies in the masterful processing of wood as a raw material. RUKU Sauna-Manufaktur GmbH & Co KG, founded in 2010, continues this tradition in the sauna product area. Craftsmanship, perfection and durability of the products as well as customised production - this is what the name RUKU Sauna-Manufaktur stands for today.

RUKU has been planning and building premium-class saunas for over 50 years, and they are installed and connected by our trained specialist companies on site and throughout Germany. The RUKU Sauna-Manufaktur product range includes classic saunas with sauna heater, Infratherm infrared cabin and RUKU steam bath. Customised wellness cabins are produced for both private and commercial customers. What is your sauna made of?
No sauna construction without wood - that has always been the case with us. Fortunately, we have a fine selection of wood types in stock for you: finely textured hemlock, domestic fir, Nordic spruce and also panel panelling made of oak or walnut. Each of the woods we offer is used as interior and exterior panelling for the energy-efficient RUKU Isoholz, the patented wall element with a 30-year guarantee on the best insulation quality. Our specially manufactured and specially milled sauna profile boards boast greater stability, better stability and higher thermal insulation thanks to extended tongues and particularly deep grooves.
