Infrared heat makes the body sweat even at low temperatures and is suitable for all age groups. This is because the mild heat puts less strain on the circulation than intense heat and is also gentler on the respiratory tract. Another plus point: the oxygen content in the cabin is higher at these lower temperatures.
The difference between this and a conventional sauna bath can be seen particularly well in thermographic images: the infrared heat, which penetrates deep into the body, heats it up more intensively and evenly during the bath in the Thermium. The body cools down less quickly after the bath and the heat supplied remains in the organism for longer.
